No. Fetchit runs the AI model locally on your own servers using Ollama. Your documents are stored in a ChromaDB vector database on your infrastructure. No data is ever sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any external AI service. Your data never leaves your network.
By default, Fetchit uses Llama 3 (8B) running via Ollama — completely private, no internet required. You can swap in any Ollama-compatible model (Mistral, Phi-3, Gemma, etc.) in the configuration. Enterprise customers can also connect to a private Claude or GPT-4 deployment if they have a data processing agreement in place.
